Usually I m lethargic and don't bother to post reviews. But I have become so fed up with this rediff shopping, that I m forced to write this. I have shopped three times by rediff by now. All the time I received not up to the mark products. Latest two times I thought that it might be a chance. Bu...Read more

Hi Namita, Can u tell me which kadai are u using for frying? I use the non stick ones (black in color) and they get cleaned fine, after frying( as nothing much sticks on it). If it gets dried due to some reason , I soak it in water for some time before loading in DW. If it is still not getting c...leaned, u can put more quantity of detergent and put the DW on cycle no 7 Actually, I have one aluminium kadai, which nowadays I have stopped using as it turns blackish when put in DW. For me , the milk utensil was the toughest and so what I have done is that, now I have stated boiling the milk in the caraffe of borosil, which gets cleaned very well in DWRead More

Cost :I could get it for 26500/- + a small gift hamper (which was part of the ongoing offer). Warranty: warranty period of 1 year. Comparison: Well regarding the comparison thing.. I tried to search internet but since I was not getting exact picture of their performance.. so I gathered experienc...e of my friends' who also owned the IFB dishwasher. Also, after a survey of the shops around here, I found that IFB was easily available. The fact that I own an IFB washing machine and am very pleased with its performance and the customer support we have it here in mumbai in my locality , I was more inclined towards IFB. I also visited 3 persons in my locality who have this IFB dishwasher and found that all were happy with its performance. Use: I mostly use it once per day. But sometimes twice also. Mostly on setting 5(which is for normal wash) Power consumption: I could not calculate as along with the Dishwasher we installed many other things..so increase due to DW is not clear Just a note : My husband does not find DW easy to work with... Earlier he just used to eat and leave the dishes . The maid would come and put the leftovers in dustbin, clean the dishes and arrange them on the rack. But now my hubby has to put his leftovers in the dustbin himself and arrange his dishes in the DW. although it hardly takes 2-3 minutes but he does not like it. so I think for those like my hubby, this is not a useful item.Read More

Pro: 1. very hygenic utensils 2. no dependency on maid. I can plan my things as per my time (thats the biggest adv for me) 3. it cleans the curves and corners of utensils very efficiently 4. The glass utensils (the costly borosil ones which I use for my microwave) and bone china utensils now ar...e immune from breaking (earlier with maid , there was atleast one break per month) 5. Large capacity - so even if many guests come .. I don't bother- no pleading or explaining to maids. (sometimes if many ppl come, I run it twice) Cons: 1. The utensils have to be arranged. (but thats not a big disadv as per me .. It takes me 10 min to load the whole days' utensils -so its fine) 2. Cost :The detergent (150/- per month), cleansing aid, salt (if water is hard- which is not in my case), Power consumption 3. It takes time - around 1-1.5 hrs Read More

I m still totally satisfied with my dishwasher. No fault till now. My beloved is running absolutely smooth. I have discovered one more thing recently. In my area I get soft water and so I dont require salt . Now I m using my dishwasher without salt and still getting fantistically clean dishes.

We chose IFB Neptune. I think Xephyr works equally good in terms of wash quality. But Neptune provides some more features like salt and rinse aid indicator, 2 more wash programs and 3 jet impellers. It cleans pressure cooker and very oily utensils also very well. I had an oil dispenser which used t...o be kept near the gas and so as time passed by oil has stuck on it badly on the curves specially. For more than 1yr, it could never be cleaned to perfection by my Bai. I was thinking of disposing it off. then I thought to try IFB on it and yesterday after washing the dispenser in the dishwasher , it came out totally as new. It was totally unbelivable for me. There is only one thing where u need to put some effort is while arranging the dishes in it. Else it is very useful thing. I normally put the utensils after taking lunch and then put the dishwasher on prewash. Then after the dinner , I put rest of the utensils and then put it on normal wash and go to sleep. In the morning, I get beautiful fresh and hygenic utensils.Read More
