I had a chance to observe firsthand on 23.1.09 that SpiceJet has operated its flight on Kolkata - Bagdogra sector inspite of its well established competitors- Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines - not operating flights on the same sector, around the same time, due to bad weather.

Kolkata: An argument ensued between Kingfisher officials and passengers booked on the airline’s Bagdogra-bound flight on Friday afternoon. A spat firs...t broke out when some passengers were allegedly denied boarding. Worse, the flight was cancelled after the passengers were finally accommodated on board, again fueling anger.
“We were six in a group. But the airline officials said they could issue only three passes as they claimed the flight was overbooked. They said the rest would be accommodated on Saturday. We were helpless and protested,” said Rajib Banerjee, a senior official of a private firm.
Soon, other passengers also joined in to voice their displeasure and the officials finally took on board all the 72 passengers on the 72-seater ATR aircraft.
The flight was scheduled to depart at 2.30 pm and passengers got restless after being couped inside the aircraft for 45 minutes after boarding. Finally, the flight was cancelled. Passengers created a ruckus at the arrival tarmac.
Kingfisher airlines however denied the allegation made by Banerjee. “There was a problem as the flight was cancelled. However, it was due to bad weather and nothing was in our hands,” said a Kingfisher official.

It's really shameful that ZEE has redesigned the format of the show to get some silver.
They have every right of deciding the commercial terms,but this inhumane treatment, of keeping the suspense till the show end, with small kids should stop.

Ha d been to sentosa with my family in may 2005 and stayed there overnight .You have truly described the place- it's a heaven for family enjoyment.
