I have been a customer of Citibank India(Suvidha account) for well over five years. I opened the account for parking my monthly salary. At that time, I found the bank better in terms of customer service and also superior in terms of its online banking experience. Five years later though, I wonde...Read more

Today I bought tickets for my family (but not for myself) to go watch this movie. Apparently everybody at my son's school had watched this movie, so he has been making his mother's life miserable. He won't cease and desist till he watched too. I don't like Bollywood movies, and I especially dislike ...those that are big on melodrama. My instinct told me this is one of those. Perhaps a bit sophisticated, not a big-time tearjerker given its target audience, but surely heavy in the sentiment dept nevertheless. Your review confirmed my suspicions and I'm glad I'm giving this flick a miss. Don't mistake me. I am all for the cause. I believe this must be a gazillion times better movie than the usual song and dance routine -- better both in the artistic and social responsibility sense -- but it's just that I hate it when film-makers pull all stops to make me cry. I'd maybe cry though if you put the same point across in an understated, non-manipulative way. One quibble. You asked whether every kid should be a winner. I believe every kid should have an accomplishment to be proud of, and to build his self-esteem. We all want to win, we all want to stand out. Don't we? Thanks for a useful review.Read More

Sterling Resorts Elk Hill, Ooty, has dark, dingy corners. It has a maze-like layout, and a thoroughly  miserable, mildewed and run-down appearance. Many of the numerous doors along  its long corridors open not into rooms but only god knows  where. And they apparently charge five gran...Read more
