Initially, this company did well. It used to operate from NOIDA. When the services deteriorated, they shifted base to Kolkata. Now, their services are simply aweful. They are currently operating from Dehradun.
I have undergone bad to very bad experience with this company. While they bombard your m...ailbox with lucrative offers, there is no follow up services. They don't respond to your mails. They do not deliver the products. And, they just give empty assurances over phone. The delivery schedules indicated are just to fool the gullible customers.
They may refund the money only after sitting pretty over it for an extended period of time. You cannot even seek cancellation of an order easily.
It is high time, some regulatory agencies stepped in and forced this fraud set up to wind up..Read More

A great review on a Bengali personality admired more than anyone else in the independent India. I wondered at the minute details you could pick up even without your not so much familiarity with Bengali language, as per your own admission.

I thank you for the words of appreciation and encouragement. Unfortunately, the number of mouthshutters interested in Indian Classical Music seems to be on a rapid declining rate. It would have indeed been better to have have even some critical opinions, rather than the l...ack of any interest even on a maestro of the standing of Ustad amjad Ali Khan.
I feel pained.

I endorse the views that judgement of quality on the basis of number of SMS's, and multiple ones at that, from same cell numbers is a fraud on talent and is a racket in itself. This is happenning in all popular musical contests on TV channels and needs an immediate review.

In these days of FUSION music, it is rare to see comments on classical music concerts. Your's, though more than a year old, brings back my own memories of this atistes couple. Aptly groomed by Chnmoy Lahiri, among others, Begum Parveen Sultana has emerged as a doyen of Hindistani v...ocal music and has a good many famous compositions (Bandishes) to her credit. The Bhairavi Sadra 'Bhavani Dayani' is probably the best and brings tears in the eyes.
However, I feel, her tendency to move her pitch to the TAAR SAPTAK (Highest Octave) at the drop of a hat needs to be curtailed, since all RAAGAs do not need these shrill pitches.
Regarding the beauty of rendition by Ustad Dilshad Khan, I have my reservations.
