Yes agree to all you wrote. They this system of making prescribe medicine online (There was a scam which was unearthed by CBI in 2008). On one opd visit our relative was prescribe a painkiller. We went to medical store which is in the same building. Our waiting no. was something 1000. I happen to th...e chit doctor wrote. It was crocin. This continues...they sent me legal notice which accused me of cheating and charged under IPC 420 etc....sic. So I kept quite, just to see what would be their next action. I was prepared for any worst consequences but not pay these cheats my hard earned money. After a month or so, again I start...ed getting calls for the payments and in each attempt they started reducing payable amount. They finally came down to Rs. 900. Still I felt, why should I throw my money away. I informed the guy about legal notice and this guy act innocent and accuse me of lying. (good tactic though). Again, last week I got a call ...guy told me that they will give me legal letter, and no one will ever call me if i pay 900...then he went on ''kya sir itne small amount bhi nahin de sakte kya.''...
whatever the amount who will teach these guys principles and ethics... atlast I will say,''paise ke liye log kya kya karte hain.''Read More

Hi guys, I am back after my last comment 6 months back. Yesterday, (Saturday 24-9-2011) I got a call from Tata Indicom customer service happily announcing 30% discount on remaining amount to be paid. (how honest are they?) which I refused as I have already paid the amount. The girl on the other side... kept arguing and kept saying I won't pay. All of a sudden, she went berserk and started using abusive language. She sounded like some underworld don. threatening me. Since she was a lady, I did not say much, politely asked her to send me a legal notice if she is so right in her claim. She banged the phone down.
Being a lawyer my self , this story doesn't seems to end here. I wait for their notice and let us see.Read More

This Tataindicom_11’s answer is just copy paste, he may have been assign to put their reply. In my case he did not halped me.
Now i would shed little light on this 5MBPS busines. I think everyone should understand this. I had slow conne...ction (72 mbps download speed) called up Photon+ customer (kast se mar) service. The girl transfered me to technical dept another girl (it helps to have a girl facing irritated customer ’cause generally we don’t shout at them, keeping our decency intact). She asked me to multiply 72 by 8. So there was another revelation, the speed of the net is calculated in ’’mega bits per second’’ while we undestand ’mega byte per second’’. Concluding part:
As i promised to post my story further (this is the concluding part). I was getting calls everyday from tata indicom at a fix time 1 pm and 3:30 pm as usual new person everytime. Very interesting things happen during ...this one month. Finally i started getting calls from Nodal officer (as if they are incharge of my bank account). One guy Shirish or similar name called of around 6:30 (it was unsual time as i only getting calls during working hours) he seemed resolving my problem (paying only 1100+tax. per month). He said ok, but on a condition of restarting service. I said no because i have already invested money in another provider. Had they accepted this earlier I would have continued. Next moring I got an surprise email saying that you service has been restarted ...i immediately mailed to stop, as i have no resolution in writting. Again calls for customer (dis)servioce asking the same amount of money...it went on and on. I stopped picking up calls. They strange thing now they used call at a fixed time and just give me a missed call. On monday (24-4-11) got a call from a guy saying ’’Aap ka usage kum ho gaya, Aap satisfied nahing hai kya’’. I informed him the all details and about billing problem also. Today (30-4-11) a guy named Rajesh Singh (from their main office) came home with the same bill. I told him i am willing to pay 1100+tax of pending two months. He called up someone and said ok. Paid him the money he gave receipt. Receipt says ’’not full settlement’’ --- i don’t what that means. your and mine (mumbai) experience matching. Though i had billing problem. Cutomer Service tell they get back....next morning mail saying ''you reqest has been closed, hope you're satisfied''. infact it sounds you're forced to be satisfied.
I hope you've changed the provider like i did.

TataIndicom_2011 you’re sounding like railway announcement. (strangly his reply disappeared from here) So spare me here, atleast. Its been almost a month now and nobody helped me. (What i want: I am willing to pay my regular 1100+Tax.)
Now, I am get...ting 2 calls perday for the payments and also they are willing send their person to collect it.(what a service all of a sudden) I asked for the bill and to my surprice the guy on the phone tells that the bill for Rs.11,000/- thats the bill and i will have to pay only 2717. Isn’t this strange. I refused to all this, when i asked him for details he showed inability and asked me to visit the gallery. I have no time for all this, why can’t they put it in B/W. His undertone also changed on refusal. Anyway ...thanks mouthshut for all the postings. I will post more on my "adventures with tata photon’.Read More

keep all the records. I have had similar experience with Photon (i also posted my reviews). Strange thing is while signing up Tata Photon they do not provide you any written document/s, Which you can keep and varify the delevarables. Secondly they charge y...ou exorbitantly without providing details. And even if they provide how will you varify those claims? You are on their mercy. They always push you in postpaid (now we know why). Adding new thing is easy (as this increases money earned for them), reducing has many hurdles. Pls keep us updated ...Read More

My Story follow-up...there’s more !!!
After I mailed them request to deactivate my services. Got a call from their accounts dept. regarding bill. I said ok, you send me the bill. Mail came but attachment was of previous month (jan-feb) which i had already paid. Replied to that mail (bill@tatai...ndicaom.com-march,18, 2011) saying this is old bill, already settled. Next morining, some other girl called for payment i told her the same that the bill you’ve sent me is old bill, she promised me she will mail me the correct bill. Nextday mail came with 12000/- (this is where the my story started). Next morning again another girl called up (everytime a new person calls up) i told her that again this is wrong bill, now she has no ideas of whole mess-up. I told her my story like sherlock holmes’ mystery. She asked me who did i spoke with, i told her i don’t keep record as everytime i get a call from Photon. Today morning (31st March) i got another call this time some a male, he was so enthusiastic about they have waive off approval Rs. 8629.87 from the bill (if you’ve followed this post, i was offered the same waver on 21 March, 2011) i asked him so how much i got pay he took a long pause and told me that he just work in ’some dept’ and his job is to inform customer about changes.
Also got an e-mail on this so called waiver in the morning boasting about it, also someone from Tataindicom, who is also member of mouthshut.com(named: Mukthar), commented about postings here on this site.
In short after all these hassels, i am where i was. They still adment on getting paid the initial amount.Read More

Dear sir,
Since govt. is paying for your Tata Photon+ (with so many minuses) your connection may be on their ''Low Proriority' list. All telecom cos have such internal handelling of customers.

Tata Photon played a trick. I was paying 1100 for 10 gb. If they sell 5 gb in the name of scheme for 8500 for 12 months it comes to 700 (+tax) per month correct. So now they selling 10 gb for effective Rs. 1400. they are +Rs 400 p.m. What a mkt off...er.Read More

same i have experienced,
First there costemer service pople kep me transfering calls to ''technical Dept'' everytime. They gave me lame excuses. Like network problem (my level of connectivity show 98% network), I have crossed the set download limits, I am the only person crying etc.
