If your bike is giving 35kmpl, there seems to be definitely something wrong. You need to get your bike checked thoroughly. If your showroom people are not user friendly, go to some other Yamaha showroom in your city, Yamaha bikes can be checked/serviced at any of the Yamaha showrooms in India. If... all the Yamaha showrooms in your city fail to give you good service, then you can think of getting your bike checked by some good mechanic in your place. Do the following basic checks: Wheel fitting and air pressure in your wheels, make sure there are no wheel bends, check your spark plug (see if it has become very black), get you carburetor checked, make sure your idling is not too much, get your silencer checked too for any clogging and blockages if you want, make sure your choke is fully off while you drive, fill good quality fuel and check your driving style by getting some feedback on your driving style from some good friends. One more thing: Keep some good amount of fuel; at least 2 -3, liters in your tank. If you have very little fuel in your tank, mileage usually drops. Fill up fuel at the very first chance when you reach reserve.Read More

Good bike. I'm getting 55+ how ever i drive. Doesn't vibrate at high speeds. Handling is the best among the bikes I tried. Max speed is better than any other 125 cc bike. I had gone to 105kmph. But I'd suggest not to do it. If you want to try such stunts, go for a 150cc bike. If you keep doing ...it in a 125 cc bike, there is a very big chance of the engine getting damaged and performance coming down, both mileage and power and pickup. I'm waiting for yamaha to launch its 150cc+ bike. To summarize: Best bike in the section of 125 cc and lesser ccs. Best in all criteria - mileage, power, pickup*, looks Tell me any one 125 cc bike which can beat gladiator in any of the above criteria. (* shine is closer in case of initial pickup, sometimes better depending the individual bikes' tuning and condition. But shine will NEVER go beyond ninety kmph, what's the use). GLADIATOR IS THE BEST^ ^ up to 125ccRead More

Hi guys, Dude sunilrishi... u have to be happy if ur bike is giving 59 milage. That's good milage. Ask any 150cc bike owners, none of those bikes give even 50 milage at best driving conditions and maintenance. My gladiator is 2800kms old(in 3 months :) ) and 2nd service is done at it's sheduled t...ime. I'd like to confess this guys: My bike is giving 55+ milage on an average. But I never dare to tell this to any of my friends, as none believe and just redicule me. This milage is in the worst driving conditions - Bangalore city, 25kms daily in peak hours with most part of the journey in 1st or 2nd gare in traffic moving slower than a pedestrian. But how can my bike give such good mileage in such bad driving conditions? Is something wrong ? And I had got around 63 milage in highway when I had gone for a 150km long trip. Never dared to disclose it to anyone as none would believe. BUT LET ME MAKE ONE THING CLEAR: Although the bike can go to 105kmph (I have gone) and no other 125cc bike can do it... please don't do it as its not good for the bike. Its afterall a 125cc bike. I'm egarly waiting for Yamaha to launch it's 150cc bike. Will buy it as soon as launched, without considering milage. Now, after riding gladiator, I've become power hungry and have forgotten about milage and have become a riding addict. Many a times, I've gone for long drives after dinner, simply for fun without any reason (in ring round, to electronic city, exploring new areas, etc) without any pre-plan, such enjoyable is the riding of this bike. Waiting for Yamaha to release it's 150cc bike soon and hope it will be a super performer. About Mag-Wheels: In Bangalore, it costs around 3K(both wheels included).I'd preffer spoked wheels for the sake of safty, as the roads are too bad in Bangalore. U can go for mags if roads r good & u don't have safety issue due to pot-craters or BIG humpy-bumpies. A good looking bike like this deserves mags.Read More

I brought the Gladiator about 3 weeks back. I have already completed 1300 kms and very happy with the bike’s performance. Firstly… why I need a bike: To have fun… Weekend long trips, highway rides… etc. To go to office (/college) daily. This being the case… What features I need in a ...Read more

Hi guys. I have recently bought a Yamaha Gladiator - 125. The bike's doing well and I’m very satisfied with its performance. It was giving a mileage of around 52 in city conditions and 60 in highway, when I last checked. Until the first service. I never did above 60 Kmph(that too only o...Read more
