hi guys,

gaurav here again,

today I have travelled my bike upto 1789 KM(meter reading) but in actual my bike has driven upto 1850 km actually my service was due and I took out the meter wire for 2 days and I commute 76 km daily.

the average of the bike is good at 55+ (after first service the yamaha mechanic told me that it would come down and I has but before in commute on a steady speed of 45-50 kmph so I think if I again go for that speed I could get 60+ as now a days I commute on 55-60 and the gear changes are really frequent with high clucthes usage)i can't state the exact one but I could tell u that it is in between 55-57 as when I used to fill up my miser splendour's tank of fuel worth RS. 350(7.35 ltr.) it runs for entire one week and now it works for 4 days + reserve's 2 litre . I added rs. 500/- (10.65L) and I have travelled more than 600km (1187km -> 1789km )and petrol is still there to be consumed and my bike travelled for exactly 602 km actually 604 but when I got my bike in my hand it already covered 2 km u know I am very particular in my meter reading.

i want to add some more and want some advice from u ppl help me out plz . :

hey this bike is really amazing u know it gives a real feeling of 150cc and I got a review in NOVEMBER 2006 B.S. MOTORING issue that this bike did not match in looks to the power it really got and I think that this is the MOST APPROPRIATE phrase one could write about this bike.

and I am for sure when yamaha launched its 150cc successor then all the pulsars and cbz's + apache's will go where they belongs "THE JUNKYARD".

WELLDONE AND KEEP IT UP YAMAHA

Today I got my bike serviced and I want to know an interesting fact that Yamaha ppl told me about a product they got & it is called nulon/nilon or something like that. It was in a blue case 50 ml pack and they said that this enhances the engines life and helps engine in producing more power and its life is upto 15000 km or 6 months. When I read that container it says " this solution provides ur engine from wear and tear and does not permit rust to settle down in engine due to use of adultered petrol."

do anyone know anything about it as I already put it in my bike but I just wanna be sure that it works.

all u ppl out there I want to tell u about one problem that when I commute for about 5 days after service I got a feeling that the chain is scratching with the chain cover and also that the back tyre is wobbling a bit when I come to 60kmph do tell me that if anyone of u is facing the same problem .

i think that I ask the yamaha guy to adjust my bike chain and I thought that he might have forgotten to clearly set it out.

hi all,

i got a final solution for the jerk that one got in the morning even after warming up the bike. if you warm up the bike in the morning just keep pressing the clucth of your bike while warming up and then went to the first gear you will not get the jerk.
