This is my second review on Nano. Although the nano has less power to deliver, the nano makes no compromise on performance. I zipped the nano through NH 4 from Bangalore to Goa and returned on a different route.    I traveled around 1450 km in two days. Average mileage was 23.45 km with AC. T...Read more

@kuckie Thanks for comment. On the wind seal( right top corner ) speed limit is mentioned. I recommend you to stick to speed limit. The better you keep the limit, the longer the engine will remain healthy. Top speed of 60-70km for 1st 1000 km is fine. After 1st service the engine will be very s...mooth. Always maintain speed -to-gear ratio in comfortable zone for better mileage. I usually drive 0-20 kmph on 1st gear (uphill drive or idling) , 20-40 kmph (2nd ), 40-80 kmph (3rd), 60-100 kmph (4th). There is a overlapping period from 60-80 speed. 3rd gear can take you from 60 to 80 in 5 seconds where as on 4th gear it will take more than 12 seconds. (Don't take car to 40kmph on 1st gear-my friend sometimes drive the way). On my recent trip of 780 kms , the car gulped 34 liter- petrol.( 20% distance with AC, 30% distance on western ghat, 5% distance within city limit). Do oil level check up on your own in every 1000-2000 kms interval(low engine oil will severly damage the engine), check gear box oil in every 2000-3000 km(if you know how to do that) and observe clutch grip(transmittion) on every (3000-5000km). These elementary things are not mentioned on the service manual. But this observation will certaily rate you how you are driving or whether you need to change the driving style. You should find a good petrol filling station on your city(You must know some filling stations add XYZ elements with petrol)Read More

The nano is good. You need to do more research on front impact rod , crumple zones etc. It will be good if you are able to pay with full cash. If you want to stay liquid in future you can opt for loan. Loan will be expensive (12-13 % fixed) unless you opt for SBI car loan or other PSU banks.

why don't you write letter with proof to Tata Motors Pune? The dealer is a thief and you are cheated. Don't expect a ABS here. Even M-800 does not have. Have you not checked the model/ features before buying? BTW Nov 11 model is the same 2012 model. Model 2012 does not mean it has to be manufactur...ed in 2012.Read More

Exterior I like the exterior design. It is a little cute bean shaped car. My wife and I love the design. Something different! I can say it is a concept car that is sold on market or allowed to do experiment on Indian customers. I know this car will be obsolete in few years. Maybe it will be r...Read more
