@ deepu: Hi! It is difficult to get spares for showgun now a days, let me know where your put-up. If your in Chennai, I can suggest some shops.

@ Manoj: sorry for the late reply. Shogun comes only with 14bhp engine. You can increase its bhp by using a K&N airfilter and a center chamber.. The bhp will defenitely increase but we need an automobile engineer to calculate on how much it has increased..

Hi RAMBIGB - Running in period for any new bike is 0 to 1500 Kms. That means till the odometer crosses this limit of 1500 Kms you are not supposed to drive more than 50 Km/hr. Its strictly mandatory that you dont rash drive the mechine or over heat the engine. Its better not to go for long drives, I...f you have too then take a break of 10 mins after every 20 mins of drive. Use the right gear for the right speed do not even drive it very slow in higher gears. Service your bike at the right time as mentioned in the users manual and make sure the viscosity of engine oil is best. Never ever use adultrated petrol during this period. If your paitient and follow these rules in the running in period then you need not worry on mileage or engine problems for the next 1 Lakh KM. Have a great biking experiance...

Hey guys, wat ever Samir has wrote about the Gun is perfect and very true. I am able to tell u this because I am a proud owner of a 2000 model Shogun. I have never ever spent a rupee other than wear n tear, still it has the stock bore piston and I am using it daily. I change the gearbox oil once in ...6-8 months only. I have never changed the clutch plates too.. This is the best 2 weel product in India for ever. But now the change has come, I am experiancing the lack of power. I have the same thought as Samir has - not to sell the GUN, let him rest and am planning to go for the New P 180 2009.Read More
