I had been using Videocon d2h for the last 5 years, I just want to say there service is excellent, call center service is also good as they listen to us and then gave suggestion. But all these services are good when there product was within warranty period, ones warranty is over they charge service charges of 200rp which is not value for money for long run .
After 10 months of my warranty period over, suddenly one fine day my tv stopped playing and diaplaying signal not available I removed card from setup box and replaced the card tv began to play.after 10mins again it is displaying signal not a available.so I contacted the customer care and complained abt this they sent technician to check.he checked set top box and checked videocon d2h antenna the technician said receiver got rust need to change the receiver of antenna he changed it and took 150 rps and left again same probs existed. I called the technician he says there maybe probs in set top box.charges for set top box would be 200rps.My hubby wrote a mail to videocon d2h customer service.they immediately sent the technician and resolved the problem.actual probs was woth set top box not with the receiver.
Videocon d2h quality also depends on climatic condition, if there is a little bit of rain your all experience gets disturbed.
Overall I suggest you Be double sure before buying Videocon d2h as there after service is worst .
