This is the first company in india who streamlined the self drive car concept, they had a good start. But as mentioned in most of my reviews. the customer service just drops once they are profitable and their ever updating terms and condition is rediculous!
Once you rent with them! there is no way you’re going to get the security deposit back! They always find one or the other thing - which they manipulate like it’s the drivers fault and not theirs, where in the truth is the other way around. Later they try to justify it by saying it is what it is as per their policy and when you ask them to furnish the same with proof, they don’t. But for any claims made by us, they want the proof. That’s not good.
Now, the prices., for self drive car for 1 person, zoomcar is Expensive! You will spend an average of 4000 at least for a day with all the taxes and stuff plus a general 5000 deposit. The car only comes with the basic damage and collision insurance which is questionable and even if the damage is as per the insurance guidelines, they still deduct some money from the deposit. bad!
My suggestion is rather rent your car with AVIS yes you will pay a premium to rent with AVIS but by doing so, you will get a car which is 10x better, clean and which is well maintained. Their customer service is cortious and respectful and you will be dealing with few sensible humans not the once with zoomcar who are generally jokers
