Zero B pristine. Review on Zero B Pristine Water Purifier

I have bought a Zero B pristine 7 liters table top Reverses osmosis model around 2 months back. Our tap /bore well water had impurity level of around 700 ppm. After installation it is around 50 ppm It has improved the taste of water and considerably.

Zero-B Pristine removes Total Dissolved Solids like calcium, magnesium, sodium, bicarbonates, chlorides and sulphates in water by 90%. This restores the natural taste of water. Besides reducing the levels of salinity and brackishness in water pristine also reduces harmful minerals like arsenic fluoride lead, pesticides, and other harmful chemicals. In addition to this, it also removes bacteria and viruses

The filtration capacity is around 7 liters/hr which is good enough for a family of 5. I did a lot of research before purchasing this filter.

Filteration process

The process involves four stages of water purification, using sediment filtration, silver impregnated carbon filter, reverse osmosis, resin-carbon filters. The water level is controlled by a tank level controller. The system is activated by a transformer, pressurized by a pressure boost pump and flushed by auto flush timer. In this process water under pressure is passed through a membrane with pores as small as 0.0001 micron. Purified water is collected for use in tank and impure water is flushed to drain.

Actually this model is being used by couple of relatives since last 2-3 years, as per there feed back Zero B has performed reasonably well without any hiccup, probably this prompt my decision to by Zero B, event though it is not a good looking model.

However the service/ installation guy provided free of cost bracket s  for wall mount the filter. Kent’s wall mounting model looks nice & sleek, but I got to know that its filters don’t last long….

Till now I have no problems with the filter ….as it is still new . Will be writing a long term usage report after 4- 6 months. Do let me know if you want any specific query related to this filter unit.
