You Can Win is a book for people who want to be better. It is for those who are not satisfied with just what life throws at them. But most importantly it is for those who want to take the control of their life, the only caution is that you must be willing to change.
Its most famous line being that - "Winners don't do different things, they do things differently". Shiv Khera goes out on a limb to declare that in order to be successful, all that the person has to do is to change his thinking process. He goes on to say that once you change your attitude towards life you'll suddenly see your life transforming right before your eyes.
The book has a number of short stories that go along with each of the topic and although it is fun to read the stories and to just skip the rest of the boring portion, you mustn't do that. Because it is the boring portion that consists all the wisdom or rather the moral of the story. So that we can learn from it and then be able to implement into our lives.
So basically yes it is a self help book but if you just buy it so that you can finish the book at a single sitting session then I recommend that you don't buy it. But if you are willing to work on yourself and are ready to embrace change then please go ahead and buy it so that you get to learn from it every single day. Take little by little away from it and once you have completed it still trust me and go ahead and read it all over once because it is at the second reading that you start to link those ideas together and finally understand the message that the book is trying to convey to you.
