I have been using Youbroadband for quite some time now.
In my area I have been noticing very poor speeds(comparable to my plan of 512 kbps it was operating at dial up modem speeds) specifically on weekends(which might be considered as peak usage time for residential connection)
For past 3 - 4 months or so every time I log a complaint I receive a response and the representative first acknowledges the issue and later informs me about service up gradation that’s planned within 15 days. And this is being repeated every time I log a complaint! So there service is being upgraded to support more load within 15 days for past 3 – 4 months.
Secondly they do not keep the prepaid customers informed about any changes they do with their available renewal plans. E.g. if 512 kbps one month plan is removed from list of available choices I only get to know when I am about to renew my current plan. This certainly is a bad practice, not informing the affected customers about plan changes!
Overall availing Youbroadband has been an unpleasant experience.
