It's been long since me and my husband were planning for a short trip, after a long research, we decided on yercaud. I checked the hotels available on internet, finally we booked in sterling resort through travel guru.But a day before our travel, travelguru told us rooms were not available in sterling instead asked us to reach wellington hill resorts.
wellington hill resort is a newly constructed resort in yercaud. Trust me ppl, it was worth a stay. They hav independent villa, 1bhk/2bhk/3bhk. We stayed in 1bhk viila, the price was around 1.5K a day. The rooms were absolutely clean and their food was too good. You may not find much about this resort on internet as not many ppl would have stayed here. The service was also good.
We dint spend much time trying to cover all places for sightseeing, we were just enjoying the climate der, went walking, der r a couple of view points which all must visit, boating is a must..and also rose garden is a nice place to visit, it is open only 9-5pm, so plan ur visit to rose garden accordingly.
One thing I forgot to mention is the road from bang to yercaud, its awesome. Very well maintained roads.
We were der for 2 days, the second day the place was covered with mist, we could hardly see anything. But overall it is a great place to relax and chill out for a day or two.
