Jumping on the bandwagon of runaway success middle class soap Jassi.. this started with some promise. The stereotype characters of a Mumbai Gujju family: the silent suffering mother, God fearing and strict father (well acted), the irritating repetitive Grandfather, nosy aunt with her nouveau rich status and tantrums to match, three daughters and the effeminate son have been introduced well into the story.

With so many characters to play with instead of develping multiple story lines and potrayals fr the viewer to empathise with, the story lingers on the (almost ) retarded neighbour friend Mandy who seems to have just few lines to repeat episode after episode (Jahan Pooji Paji...) or Annie with her garish wardrobe and bitchy comments (think of new ones..) Rohit with a perpetually pained expression. The one character who manages to deliver her dialogues with some crispness is Reema!

To salvage the show bringing in celebs is a poor attempt, move on with the story and direct ''Pooji'' to show more expressions and act for a change, she has 5 standard expressions and no more....

Poor show for a primetime slot....
