DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH yatra.com I recently purchased a ticket from yatra.com on Qatar Airways (NYC to TRV).
After entering all ur CC info, they send you an email with a reference # and a form indicating that you have to fill it out (with CC and Passport info) and fax it to a number 212-981-3728 (no idea who receives that).
Thankfully I didn't have my passport # handy and didnt include that. I called twice at 1 888 4MY YATRA within the next 2 days asking why I never got my tickets (I'm supposed to travel in less than 1 week). "Ma'am its in the queue, you should have it within a couple of hours".
I called the next day - ur card was declined ma'am..she transferred me to her supervisor - Suresh who said my CC was declined 3 times and that I have to call my bank (well I wish someone had called to inform me that!). After calling my CC company, they told me that someone tried to put through air france, qatar and another charge on my CC, they suspected fraud and declined all.
I called Suresh back and told him that Chase is investigating this fraud and will be sending me the paperwork to fill out. I hope yatra.com is blocked from the US. STAY AWAY FROM THEM...I got my tickets from expedia at a better rate. First and worst experience. P.S I wish there was a zero bar to grade them---poor is too "good" to rate them...PATHET
