I have received my bike about a month ago and have done about 700 km until now.

will try give a brief living experience which I hope u all will like.

1) looks: this was the primary reason why I bought the bike I had booked the p220 and when I saw this I realized that getting a fully faired bike for 12000 more seemed to be a good deal.

i will not hide he fact that 70% of my decision was based on teh look alone.

2) brand : I have always been a fan of yamaha and though their new stint was filled with duds I was overjoyed that yammy finally brought back their performance mantle to give bikers something to enjoy

3)technology: as I read up on the specs I realised that the tech they were offering is vastly superior to anything we have in india until now and is actually derived from their international portfolio.liquid colling, diasil, forged pistons, specially designed rubber, 4 valves. Bajaj has been doin a banj up job of getting awsome tech to indian bikes but yamahas considerably larger experience in performace bikes has given them an edge.

4) chassis: one word DELTABOX. anyone half interested inbike can easily appreiciate this and infact once I had bought the bike the handling has now replaced the looks as my favourite aspect.

5) performance: frankly not great if u think about the money but think about the fact that it is just 150 cc and u will really appreciate this. the main thing is that to really appreciate this you HAVE to go beyond 4500 rpm because it has a split personality under 4500 it is sloww lethargic and beyond that it is an olympic sprinter the handling is awesome and once you get used to the ergos and the bike it becomes a breeze to go at decent speeds in teh city . initially I was finding it cumbersome but now taht I can go upto 7000rpm(after 500km) I look forward to riding in the city .im not teh racing sort of person but I do like to go fast so I am more than happy .

highway ride: the seating is not as good as a karisma for touring but still better than many other bikes available for higway riding covering large distances at high speeds becomes standard as there are no vibes or drama at highers revs and the smoothness of the engines allows you to maintain good sppeds without any fear.

6) braking: AMAZING by far the best brakes I have ever used and nothing more to say about them

panic stops are a breeze and pulling stoppies is something u learn and love withing the first ride only.the brakes have saved my bum 2 times till now(both becoz of dumb auto drivers).

7) handling/ride: easily the best aspect of the bike, high speed turns insane leaning angles composure over bad roads all first class.the monoshock is light years ahead of any regulars bike and more refined and stable than that of teh unicorn.the tyrews are superb and the grip level is phenomenal.

8) fuel efficiency: consistently 35-40 usinf regular fuel. cant ask more while runing in the engine and even if it doesnt improve after service still acceptable becoz I used to get 40-45 in my wind . my riding style is anti efficiency.

9 headlamps: this part I hate high beam is good but low beam is horrible. everytime I take take the bike at night I wish for more illumination in low beam.

10) the big question IS IT WORTH THE MOOLAH??

YES considering the fact that you get very good looks and great handling& performance for about 12000 more than the p220 makes it definatly worth it.

mostly it is becoz the bike has so much to offer than froma learner to a pro you can keep discovering new bench marks everyday and never ever you can ower whelm the bike.

11) the worst is the warranty which includes the electricals and u cannot add to the headlamp or horn
