Yamaha has always been one with an inspired performance and it's world class engineering but always has been taken back on marketing. The looks of the bike were also not the best in the world as far as yamaha is concerned. But with Yamaha Libero, Yamaha has certainly come out of this shell.

Libero is by far the best bike by Yamaha till now. A 110 cc bike competing in same segment as Splendour and Bajaj Calliber it has the potential to be the clear winner.

It is also competitively priced at about 46,000-48,000/- on road price. Libero has a very stylish look compared to splendour and calliber. The funky yamaha logo adds a completely new dimension. This is one bike with a lot of style and looks into it. The head light has a unique shape, which helps it to throw light a greater distance and more power. The fuel tank also has a good capacity.

The most powerful thing in this bike as in any other bike is it's engineering. The bike doesn't need more than one kick to start. One can hardly notice the sound when bike is on. Gear system is slightly complicated but is designed to give a better handling at traffic junctions.

The dials are indeed very fashionable. The maintainance of the bike is negligible. One just needs to oil and service it every 3 months or based on the usage.

Also yamaha libero is winner on the average front with an average even higher than Hero Honda Splendour. It gives an average of around 74/- kmpl.

It has a long seat which can accomodate upto 3 persons.

Although one aspect which can sometimes trouble the customer is that the bike does not have a fuel indicator and the task is carried out only by a reserve cock. It might be sometimes disastarous.
