The Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 is powered by a 149cc air-cooled motor tuned for better efficiency and performance. The new engine, developed with Yamaha’s Blue Core philosophy, uses lighter parts and engine components for better performance and efficiency. The powerplant churns out 13.1PS of power and 12.8Nm of maximum torque. The most important change in the engine however is the fuelling. As the name suggests, the Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 gets electronic fuel injection and Yamaha claims it not only makes for linear power delivery but also makes throttle response crisper. The fuel injected Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 offers better mileage than the standard Fazer which continues to exist in Yamaha India’s product line-up. The Fazer FI V2.0 offers better technology and better mileage than the existing Fazer but is at a price point which is higher as well
