In my last review I was asked by a friend that how could an 11 Bhp motor cycle outrun a 16 Bhp motorcycle. [i speak of the enticer article] well after the deluge in bombay a few days back and my motorcycle with a few others were stuck in waist deep waters and after the waters subsided after 36 hours only mine started with the push of the electric start.
now thats what I call quality of an engine. when bajajs and hero hondas were trying to make the transition from deep sleep in dark murky waters to dry(kind of) slick black tar roads. yamahas and honda pulled through.
i am writting of the yamaha fazer. a 125 cc monstrosity with the look of a hornet ready to strike.
you must know that I compare this motorcycle with a hornet because not only does it look like one but also like the hornet is not the most vicious insect but is highly respected.
the fazer was pitted against weak 125 ccs of other makes but after facing tough speed challenges from a miniscule discover dtsi was forced into a make over.
the new fazer is the new look hi-speed 4 stroke yamaha in india.
i suppose yamaha have decided to go after the indian makers buy launching a flurry of new products and roping in john abraham has only added glitz to the already infamous legend called yamaha.
many say that yamaha only made good 2 strokes and the four strokes were only a mirage of the past.
but I think the new fazer will do justice to the legend
although the company must think of a few options like a fifth gear and larger engines if it has to regain its legendary status before the pulsar gets all the credit .
the mileage is really good 65 on the dot not a tad more, not a tad less.
what else could you ask...........................
the new colours will not only be noticed by you as an accessory but also by others baecause its so good to also look good.
before I end this all I ask of you is to go ahead for a test drive..........
