Yamaha bikes have always been known for their high performance and best in class comfort. And FZ-S is a bright example of its glorified history. FZ-S is still the best bet for Yamaha for the Indian roads and never fails to bring a smile to its owner's face. Lets get down to the details.
FZ-S has been a revolution in the motorcycle history and since its launch it has given its competitors a run for their money. The design is the best in its class with the semi-naked look making it look more rugged. The headlights are the main attraction of its design element. The body is very well designed and assembled to give the rider a comfortable posture to sit on and drive. I have a 2013 model and it still performs like a charm.
The mileage is quite decent for the performance it delivers. Around 40 km/litre is what one can expect in the best case scenario. The 150 cc engine delivers a max power of 13 bhp which I personally think could have been a bit more. It has a disc brake in the front but I would have loved disc for the rear tyre as well. But nonetheless, the braking system is quite efficient and I have no complains so far. The overall weight of the bike is 132 kg which feels very light and easy to handle.
My verdict - FZ-S has always been a crowd puller and it still continues to do so . Without any doubt the best bike under 1 lac segment, so please go ahead and buy it.
