Yamaha - Name has the value. But the product and service bring down the value of name to negative.
I have purchased Yamaha - Alpha 2 yrs back falling love for the wrong AD shown in television. At the first instance I was disappointed as they gave me a damaged vehicle. Fought and took the damaged part replaced.
Problem started right from the day one.
1) Suddenly the vehicle stop and will never start - Call the mechanic from the service centre and get it rectified on the road
2) Suddenly horn or indicator will not work - when we take to service centre they say they have to tune the horn(as if its a tv channel to tune the program) and make it work and give. but after some time the same problem.
3) Service engineers at the service centre does not have any concern to the customer. when we take for for the service it is not attended properly. and they take 2 to 3 days to service the vehicle and charge around minimum 600 even though it is free service.
BAD PART OF IT IS IF I TAKE THE VEHICLE TO ANY LOCAL MECHANIC THEY SAY THEY CAN NOT ATTEND THIS VEHICLE AS IT IS VERY COMPLICATED.
I recommend Please please please do not buy this vehicle.
