I am a regular customer at YLG and hold a beauty secret card as well.
It's been around 12 days that I have raised a concern with YLG service, and no one seems to even bother to address it! I have been following up with YLG HSR Layout, and all I get is only rude argument/false claiming. They don't even acknowledge your concern. No matter whom you write to. Top to bottom, people are agnostic of customer concerns!
I am really surprised to see such apathy from YLG! I thought YLG is an organized establishment with well defined process for customer satisfaction / feedback handling. No wonder the people working there can get away cheating customer.
This kind of things you won't expect from other well established salons such as Lakme or Natural.Here's a transcript of my complain for your reference again:
On last Saturday, 1st august I booked an appointment with HSR Layout YLG salon for FRONT hair smoothening. I asked the charges before booking and I was told it's around 1k+ taxes.
I had my total smoothing done just a quarter back and there is not much growth. Only the front sections had a bit growth and so I opted for only FRONT smoothening.
I arrived at the HSR layout YLG salon on the stipulated time and before sitting for the service only, I specifically told the hair stylist Chambal that I only want front part to be smoothened.
He said "yes"
While he started working at my back hairs, I again told to do the front part only. He said "only the newly growth hairs ups he would do". So, I relaxed thinking as I did not have much growth[only 3 months], it will not cost me huge.
He never explained the cost.
Also kindly note during the procedure also, he was very harsh with my hair despite my repeated request to be gentle as it was hurting me.
I had specifically thrice asked him to do only front smoothening before the service start. I was totally cheated for RS 5985/-.
He was also laughing when I was trying to say I only booked for front smoothing.
No one even explained me the charges [rather than that 1k charge for Front smoorthening], and now when I try to follow up with the salon, they are dishonestly claiming that it was explained! I really feel miserable at this cheating. Haad I
have to do full somoothening, I would have gone to Lakme as its offering 40% off now.
Just because I have invested 20k in YLG card, YLG can cheat me like this. Because of this 20K, I am left with no option but going to YLG for a year since I put a huge money trusting them.
Kindly note that what service I would do to my hair, is solely my decision. YLG may suggest me explaining the charges , but at the end of the day it's me who has to pay. So, it should be entirely my decision. YLG can't force customers with it's decision that cause them exuberant charges.
Kindly note that with this kind of attitude, customer feels terribly cheated and force to opt for other good beauty salons.
I request you to take appropriate action in this incident and give me my money back.
I hope, YLG addresses this issue sensibly
