I had bought Xiaomi Redmi Note G in Airtel Store on 23rd Jan 2015. The device was delivered with a defect in the screen(Crack). I had highlighted this to the Airtel customer care on 24th Jan 2015(Night) over a phone call, the customer care executive informed me that I should visit Airtel Store and the store is closed for the next two days due to holiday(s).
With the help of Customer Care executive in one of Store in Chennai, I managed to get the service center details. When I approached the authorized service center in Chennai I am surprised rather shocked. Customer Service is atrocious. They are not is a position to provide solution/service. It has only worsened the status.
I raised this to the Nodal officer who in turn called me to understand the issue and gave an irrelevant reply stating ownership lies with technical team.
I would recommended not to but this product, It is being served with defect and poor service.
