Well, as i'v understood growing old along with the e-commerce business budding in INDIA. Reviews are utmost important to show face to these so called'global brands' with customer value of'road side vendors'.
Earlier I have reviewed few brands with complete honesty and have received satisfactory resolution. So I will review again.
These stupid customer support of MI India which was better of when was handled by FLIPKART.
I made a gigantic mistake of trusting the source and placed order from MI India website.
Atleast when flipkart was in picture they took complete responsibility of providing satisfactory support(though need revamp in present time as it is lagging)
(already using redmi note 4g / redmi 1s / redmi 2 / redmi note / lenovo A6000+ / A7000 all bought during the peak of - lets flood the market with smartphone war)
I ordered redmi 2 prime on 2 separate orders(along with other accss. and support package)
Even though I cancelled order(in want of ordering mi4 combined price of 2 prime) within a min of ordering.
they cancelled my cancellation request citing reason that product is already dispatched from warehouse(funny thing is at this rate they dont even print their phone on manf. line)
it is like they are force selling their phone so atleast some will buy rather than sitting at ware house being manf. at foxcon facility here in india.
no doubt its a good phone(lets not talk about still more than 50% combined sale is defective piece with some or other function or hardware not working)
but I am talking about your customer support; bloddy for some reason it takes you 15 days(excl. time to dispatch and receive back phone at your warehouse) to credit money back to my account . big laugh on face of using plastic money as convenience to hassle free transaction) for your information I get my salary in 30 days .
your customer support is pathetic I dont know what language they talk . let alone our rajbhasha .
I understand cost cutting is key of Chinese business profit making . but blody keep your customer care a good mouth atleast . if at all it is in india . because we talk . and talk boldly .(rather two meanings can be thought of here.)
now, if for some reason you want to run business in this short lived fancy sector . give an edge to cheerful support . flipkart sounds much better . even though they are pain sometime . but rest assured with your such welcoming move on my first ever purchase . next time I am ordering everything through them . P.S
Dear MI India if you have change of heart
kindly refund my money at earliest, my girl and I are getting married this month end(this phone was a cheap gift to her . knowing and en-lighting self completely that more and many occasions will follow to smile at her surprise of getting gifts as my love is with no measure)
