Hello friend, I have bought mi max phone in October 2016 through amazon, according to my experiexne there are some pros and cons about this phone,
pros are:-
1) screen size: - which is really big and great when seeing videos, and while doing video chat its really clear with super brightness,
2) camera:- Primary camera is 13 megapixel and quality is pretty good in this budget and fron 5 megapixel is also doing well, image quality is so good with natural colour, it also has some camera filters that make you photo more clear and also during video call.
3) battery life:- the main reason I bought this phone is his battery life which give you whole day life if you are a huge multitasker like me, I use it in playing HD game, watching yourtube videos, surfing net, listing music and much more but still it gives me whole day life even after 12 hours use 15-20% battery still remains.
4) sound quality:- it sound quality is loud and clear with great bass .
5) ram:- I bought it in 3GB verson with 32GB internal storage and I have not face any hanging problem till today.
6) price:- any other phone with this type of features are available in high price but this one is cheap compare to all other phone . the main reason is because it is only available in india through online.

Cosn:-
1) Screen size:- In above I have mentioned that screen as a pros but same make trouble during long phone calls because it become painful when you kept in you hand during long call due to its big size.
So according to me of you are looking a low budget phone with great features then this is the right one
