Xolo is the company who introduced Intel chip system in their phones and grew really well in the market. But now it seems that XOLO just wanted play with their customers by giving Worst product out of the box with No revolution. They talk about the Next level but I would say that this is a sure delusion of Next level what they are talking about.
hello! Guys this is my review on XOLO era2x
Pros:-
1) design is pretty decent I mean company really given crap to this thing. if I compare to the previous ERA phones then I can say that design is much much improved now. back in time design of ERA phones were plasticy but now it looks good feels good. back is good for the grip and it feels a premium phone.
2) I really like that XOLO gone for the mediatek chipsets rather than their Spreadtrum chipset. so for the gaming performance I think this chipset really give some boost. but I will talk about it in the cons
3) 5P largan lens setup is pretty impressive in this price bracket and it seems good.
4) Fingerprint sensor is very good edition in this but admit it Xiaomi has set the bar up for the budget oriented handset with their Redmi series.
5) Availability of the two variants is quite impressive. user can choose from both the variant according their uses
6) 5 inches HD screen is good enough to produce great view angle and user experience and it is ONCELL display to it means screen and glass gap is minimal in compare to others.
these are the points which I liked but lets talk about some cons.
1) first of all 2500mah battery is not good for 3 gb variant handset I mean ram consumption of the user will automatically be good if he is going for this variant. with more ram consumption battery backup will reduce and mediatek chipsets are really not good at saving battery. marshmallow does optimise battery but 2500mah battery is really not keeping that level to match other phones.
this was the same issue with YU phones.
2) Quad core CPu really is not the dealmaker here. upper ram variant should have an octa core processor for better quality of user experience. sometime phone really feel laggy.
3) Ram management is really poor for the phone I mean you cant run 3-4 apps simultaneously on this phone. apps do take reload when you have to open them from the task manager.
4) camera quality is below the average. 5P largan lens setup is good but it think software for the same is not optimised according to the camera specs. pictures really lack sharpness and comes out blurry.
5) Processor really heats up alot and I think dropping down the idea of spreadtrum chipset was really not good at this point.
6) Gaming performance is laggy while playing some mid and high range games.
some average features are like sound reception, user interface are ok so no issue about that.
I just wanted to say that XOLO really didn't prepared their selves completely for the competition and this handset really fails in impressing the Consumers of mobile market in the india.
