There is only 3yrs option and nothing else.
Very bad experience with marketing who had been calling me repeatedly to visit Brigade club and explore the opportunity for membership. I was open minded and was in fact looking forward to membership but after what I went through gave a bad taste and strings of false promises. We felt that we have been taken for ride right at the start.
I was told the meeting is only during time that will end with lunch or dinner. And that there will be no presentation. But I need to come with my family and I cannot come alone or with my parents. Since, they have been consistently following me up for almost 2 months, one of the few Saturday(28-Feb) I with my family decided to spend an evening at the club. I with my family and my parents landed up in club at 6:00PM and I was greeted and then the worst of surprises started.
I was told I had to sit 90 min through their talking and presentation. How can you expect you parents and your kids to sit through 90 min, I was never told this when I was called. I wanted leave but since I committed I accepted the conditions hoping others can have a good time in club.
I asked if they have anything to keep kids and parents occupied, the staff was clueless – how can you then expect to bring your family then? My kids and my parents were simply asked to sit at reception – worst possible option to my kids and parents.
The marketing/sales person was very artificial and slow, I could have completed the whole affair in 30min but he took 60min. It was frustrating. More frustrating that my family is spending the Saturday night at club reception!
A club tour ended with a discussion on costs and membership options, it was 7:30PM – I was thirsty and feeling hungry and this is I was in so called a club. I sat through 1hr 45min. Worst part was no one offered for a glass of water, forget tea etc. And this is future club membership we are talking about.
And this all culminated with a bigger SHOCK. The person bought us to reception asked me if I need to be drop me to my car. It was 8:00PM and I remember correctly there was a dinner too. I asked what about dinner(as I wanted to see the dining room and food quality) but he was clueless. However, the I was told dinner starts at 8:30 PM not in main restaurant but will be a separate option in some corner. This was like sheer cutting corner and torture inflicted to me and my family. My kids and parents were thirsty and hungry and frustrated and this was the Woodrose club, marketing for a future member. Or maybe this was to ensure I will downbeat the membership to all others, which anyway I am doing from the experience I have at Woodrose.
Do not fall for their membership call. If you want a membership their are better clubs in bangalore.
