There is one question that keeps on revolving around my head is that Why is Microsoft still continuing this Medoa Player? . Whats the point of keeping this alive? .

Anyone hardly on this eaeth now uses this partcular software to play music or movies. Earlier with Xp it was suitable or Ms should have ended its support by including it lastly with Vista.

Now tale the present scenario where we people have been introdcued to a next gen os Windows 10, but with that too there comes Media Player all same as the one we had got in Windows Xp, marginally the design has been overlooked to ammend it according to the layout of the new Win 10, so that you no longer feels it the same.

I have been playing all of my videos in either VLC or Gom playet, it doesnt mean that I have not media player anyyime by now. I have used it couple of times even gave it a preference as it would have been a better choice, where you dont have internet and this comes preloaded.

But it does not deserves someones attention and it is hardly mangeable for it to play any kind of videos. I played couple of Mkv and x265 videos none of them really started and instead gave me a error for the video, whereas they worled with every other player I installed.

No point of using this player of ancient times, when you have better choices like VLC  Gom, etc.
