The much awaited Mammootty movie is here, and it is just a sigh of relief to see him in such a stylish look, credits to Director Uday Ananthan. White marks the comeback of the Uday Ananthan after his directorial debut with Pranayakalam. The trailers made it well aware that this movie has something new that needs to be looked forward for, maybe the story or just Mammootty. Or both?

The movie is a romantic story about the blooming love between Mammootty and Huma Qureshi. The story is simple and yet breath-catching. I may be going overboard, but love stories are bound to be weaknesses for few.

Let’s talk about the story in detail then, Prakash Roy(Mammootty) is a financial analyst working in London and living his middle-aged life as it comes. Roshni Menon, a 25-years-old software engineer, moves to London for an oversea project. Some unexpected incidents bring Mammootty and Roshni together and begins to flourish a new friendship. Deepening the bond, they grow closer and the friendship turns into something more. What happens next in their days together forms the crux of the story.

The trailer of the movie didn’t show much about the plot but it definitely evident that the story unravels the bond and connection between Prakash and Roshni.

The screen presence of Mammootty-Huma is absolutely breath-taking, perfect chemistry. Mammootty’s performance doesn’t need to be said it words as he does it gracefully and effortlessly, pulling off the style quotient that has been endowed to him. This is a full-fledged romantic role for the megastar, after a really long gap. This movie marks Huma Qureshi’s debut in M’town and she manages to stir the screen with her beauty and elegance.

Most of the movie is shot in London, Budapest and other locations across Europe, some even shots even have been done in Bangalore and Kerala. The cinematography brings out the tones to accentuate the romantic feel that the story requires.

No one could ever believe in a love story that will blaze between two so different and apart personalities, one is full of experiences and other has just drawn out of the covers to explore the spread of her wings.

All in all, for once, a different love story that can really make you think that love knows no age! A definite watch.
