One of our early purchases 3 years back - soon after our marriage and as we were shifting into our new home - was the Whirlpool WhiteMagic. Till now, I have had no reasons to complain, as Whirlpool takes care of all my dirty linen. If anything, it is the fact that we don't get tap water 24 hours that has given us headaches. But, with some planning, we have been able to effectively utilise Whirlpool. A must for working couples.
It is fully automatic, and once you switch it on, it takes care of the rest and you can go about your other jobs with no worries or hassles. Any time of the day. It dries so well, that synthetic materials practically need not much drying out in the sun. It is a difft. issue that most of the times we don't find time to take the clothes off the line for two days. I wish Whirlpool did something for that too!
Oh yes, once we did find the bedroom, where the washing machine is kept, flooded! We only use a mattress and no cot, so one can say the mattress got a free wash too! But, that sent panic buttons through. However, service was prompt and it turned out to be a lose pipe inside, in between the outer and inner casing. As a result, all water escaped through the bottom of the machine. But ever since we fixed that with some quickfix, we have had no troubles with the machine.
On the whole, it takes washing off my mind.
