This is a fantastic album which is a mixture of ballads but mostly upbeat very catchy songs all originals written and co-written by Gareth and some great song writers, one of them being Sasha Scarbeck.
It starts off with the very slow reflective Changes but don't be fooled into thinking that this is reminisent of the rest of the album. As then the pace starts to hot up.
I have to say that every song on this album is a winner but ones to watch out for especially are Lost in You, New Kid in Town, Electric , 19 Minutes and the slower Can't believe its over.
This is Gareths 3rd album and in my mind his best. as all the songs are very different, you can play it time and time again without getting bored with it. Afterglow and Talking Minds are two very different songs which I found grew on me the more times I heard them. I would just like to add that the 2 singles that Gareth has released from the album are in no way reflective of it.
Allthough very moving Changes and Angel on my shoulder are both quite slow ballads, but this is not an album of ballads and there are some amazing rockier songs on there that are quite a surprise for people who have only heard Gareths 2 previous albums. This album is doing very well in Taiwan and I have just heard it has gone to no 2 in Korea.
