I read so many reviews on this that I could not refrain myself from writing on this subject. Many people don’t understand right from wrong anymore--so sad!!!
Mr. Tendulkar stop crying you are no more a child playing under Ramakant Achrekar for Shardashram. Instead of bashing Rahul Dravid, stand up India and applause the decision of Rahul Dravid / Saurav Ganguly.
Whom do you put first? Country or Personal records?
Well it depends from person to person, some great minds like Mr. Dravid will say of course country first, but there are morons like Mr. Tendulkar who will always cry for personal records.
Yes the argument is; it might have taken Sachin just 2-3 balls to get to his 200 but just imagine how much psychological pressure it had on the minds of Pakistani players just because of the timing of the declaration. It showed them that this Indian team wants to create history by winning on Pakistani soil and nothing can stop them from achieving that, the personal goals can be achieved later somewhere. But alas! The impact of this bold and aggressive decision by Rahul was nullified by Sachin’s statement after the end of the day. The other theory is that it was pre decided that with the fall of his or Yuvraj wickets the team is going to declare the innings but still the Records God was crying to add one more useless record to his name.
I know some people may not agree with this but Sachin should be reprimanded for putting his personal interest ahead of the team. The Sachin could do no wrong times are over. Only fools or idiots judge person from his past records He's about as selfish as they come. He is alone responsible for so many past defeats.
Like them or not but Rahul, Ganguly and Viru are the true GOD of Indian Cricket. And it’s my prediction that the Nawab of Najafargh will be bring more glory to India then GOD Tendulkar.
