I've been to Vruda's with my family for quite some time now over the last couple of years. Things have changed .. and by that I mean the ambience... and the variety of food being served. The place is still located in the lane of OM Jewellers opposite the Vodafone(formerly Hutch) gallery.
The entrance is watched closely by attentive admin staff of Vrunda for new customers and they prompty ask you how many ? and Ac/non ac . If its a weekend , they take your name down and you have to wait till you are called. If not, you breezily walk in and settle yourself down in the non-AC Hallor the AC Hall upstairs. I always opt for the AC/Hall as its comfortable after a long day.
Food is pretty good and quite reasonably priced . The staff is very prompt and kid friendly.. My son loves their Dosa's. The Punjabi and Chinese food is also good. I have not tried their Gujrathi Thali yet...
The best part about Vrunda , is that they are open until late in the night , so even if you are working late , you can be less worried about having to miss dinner and drop in at this place even at 10.30 or 11 ish..
Overall' I'd say for newcomers , this place is at least worth 1 try!
