I am a freelance automobile expert. I made a detailed study of the European Volkswagen polo fifth generation(MK-v).
So I can say that the company has some amazing polo variants in Europe, but in India it launched degraded models of the same. looks are almost same but the company has pulled out the features from it. its something like that one is original and other is generic. its European model is unmatched and unbeatable while on the other hand it's Indian model can be compared with even some maruti models. isn't it strange, because Volkswagen is a automobile giant having a number of reputed brands under it's flagship.
Indian variant's control switches look like gas-burner knob. some features from the European one are flat tyre warning system, semi climate control, head lamp washer, controls on steering wheel, combination switch control at steering instead of rotatory switches, this is very disappointing comeback for POLO, as its 4 generation was launched in India few years ago and you can not find a single one on the road easily.
