I am an unfortunate owner of a Jetta and its barely a year old and this amazing piece of German engineering could not handle a little rain water which my Honda and Santro could get through. The car got stuck in the rainwater which had risen upto a foot due to water logging and now as per the VW dealer this is not their problem and the cost of repairing is upto 2.5 lakhs.
So, basically in Indian monsoons and with Delhi roads I can expect to spend this amount every year or keep my car under covers in the monsoons. My advice, dont touch this piece of sh** and go for a car which can handle Indian conditions and where the company cares about its customers after they have sold you their car. NEVER NEVER BUY A VW CAR.
