NEVER EVER TAKE VODAFONE POSTPAID

Charges and Billing:

I took Vodafone corporate connection in Bangalore. The first month the guy who sold me said he will activate an internet plan and he didn't. I didn't use internet that month but somehow due to background data 73MB downloaded and I was charged 730/- for browsing internet. I didn't even open a page that month.

So I was told by a Vodafone care that they would recharge my account with 300 and that never happened.

The month ending I went to Vodafone store to cancel my connection, and they said I had to wait 3 months to cancel my connection.

Today when I called up cancellation services they said you can cancel it anytime, there is nothing like a 3 month minimum usage. Now I will be charged wrongly for next month also, because my CUG plan has started.

The worst part is the customer care services, when I asked them why I was charged 100 extra, she mumbled something. After persistently asking she told me I was charged for going to the store, paying money and getting a bill(seriously, you take 100 for giving a bill, let me tell you it was not an itemized bill, it was just a bill showing I paid 989/-)

I called up customer care, he said that I was wrongly billed and they would refund it back into my account.

My appeal is to postpaid customers to check your bill regularly, and see the details. Do not just pay upfront what they send you on the bill.
