I kind of follow a mantra when choosing on which network to commit into. Obviously now it all depends on which city you belong to, so going by my current placement I say in Delhi if you looking for a good network coverage go for Airtel, want most out of your talktime Idea all the way baby and when it comes to best offers and customer support Hutch is the one, ask me why, cause for first I don't mind paying a little extra on premium compare to other services if I am getting a good service, hutch has always given me a pleasent feel good factor, lol, now this ain't the kind of feel good BJP is bestowing, it's better.

I have a pre paid SIM which I bought from a retailer but suprisingly the number I got was something else than it showed in the pouch, I immediatelly called on their customer suport toll free number and was assisted warmly with their customer support associate.

I was suggested to drop down their service centers to report the missmatch of SIM and they took the matter seriously and I was not expecting these people to handle customer woes with such seriousness. It took me 20 minutes and I was handed the SIM I originally asked for, wolla as simple as that, man I was impressed. Some weeks later I even got a call from their support incharge asking about if my problem has been handled and that I was satisfied, now this is what I expect where a customer is not just a genralization.

On to their network connectivity, it ain't bad either, though in basements and while on congested markets the network sometimes drop dead and if you are in between a conversation you get dissconnected, annoying but then this happens in all others so I rather not crib about it.

One thing I would like Hutch people to work on is the reliability of their SMS delivery, unlike Airtel their is no guarantee your SMS is send on received by the person who you send to, No reminder comes and I have personelly checked and seen manytimes SMS send from Hutch are recieved late by as much as 2 days.

Support people normally can help you here as sometimes SMS gets qued up and get stuck, but for a person like me who relies on insane high sms traffic Hutch is a little disappointment.

Then you have 15 days of grace period which is very useful, I hope their recharge card comes of little denomination than 108 bucks just like airtel have started with those 50 bucks recharge, that kind of felxibility is very much required.

In the end I would rate hutch 8 out of 10, impressed with their support, roaming experience a+ and decent network stability makes it one of best to go for in prepaid zone.
