Vivo V7+ design and build quality

The build quality of the phone is good. It is light with slim. Thickness is only 7.7 millimeters. Walking in a pocket is convenient and the texture is such that there is no problem in gripping. The back part is of plastic. But it looks like a metal away from the distance. Finishing is good and Vievo has given a Chrome Accent on the top and bottom edges which works to enhance the beauty of the phone.

3.5mm headphone socket, micro-USB port and speaker grip are at the bottom. On the left side there is a SIM tray with two slots for Nano SIM and MicroSD card. You will be able to use the microSD card up to 256 GB. The last variant was not available to increase the storage capacity. Volume and power buttons are on the right side There is no problem reaching them during use. Just seeing the Micro-USB connector was disappointing. We should have used a new Type-C port.

The most important difference from Vivo's old phone is 18: 9 aspect ratios. The top and bottom borders are thin. So on the edges, even more thinner. The display has a 2.5 d Curved Edge Gorilla Glass Protection which is good to look at. Regrettably, Vivo did not pay attention to the resolution. For the 5.99 inch screen, the company has given HD(720x1440 pixels) resolution which is disappointing. The shocking thing is that the display is not so bad for our hope. Icons and text do not look too sharp. Colors are diverse and watching angles are not too bad. There is also space for LED notifications above the screen.

The rear camera comes with a bulge on the rear side. There was no scratches on the camera lens during the review. Fingerprint sensor is in the middle of the rear part, right above Vivo's logo. The sensor will identify you faster. You will also be able to lock the app with the help of this sensor and take selfie. In the box you will find Silicon Cover, SIM Ejector Tool, Quick Start Guide, Headset, Data Cable and 10 W Charger.

Vivo V7+ specifications and features

The VivoV7+ has used Qualcomm's 400 Series Top End Snapdragon 450 processor. It comes with Qualcomm's Adreno 506 GPU. This is better than the rest of the Snapdragon 400 series in terms of performance. There is no problem in multitasking and it is easy to play a game. This Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor is not so fast. But it can not be said weak. The phone has a 64 GB storage with 4 GB of RAM, which is good. Other specifications include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-OTG and FM radio.

Vivo has upgraded his FantoshOS. It is based on Android 7.1.2 Nouga. But this custom ROM made on Android clearly shows iOS's inspiration. In the new version the notifications appear exactly in the IOS style. Vivo's control center is available. You can activate it by swiping from the bottom of the screen to the top. The Function OS is a layer UI, so all apps are for you on the home screen.

You will be able to enable Face Beauty during the video call in the selected app. With the help of Smart Split 3.0, you will be able to use two apps simultaneously on the screen at a time. But it works only with the selected app. At the same time, support for Nuooda's standard split screen feature is not available. If you want you can run two accounts in some app. For example, two WhatsApp accounts from different numbers.

The settings app will confuse you in the first glimpse. Many functions will not be found where they should be. It can be a bit more polishing, like text and menu alignment.

Vivo V7+ Performance, Camera and Battery Life

Despite having a weak chipset according to the ranking, good performance is good. We have never usually complained about the performance. The UI performance is good and the phone handles multitasking easily. It was slow only occasionally. There is no problem playing casual games. However, in a game with powerful graphics, the framerate can not be sustained several times during the gameplay. VoLTE works well on the Geo Network. Dialer app is also standard. It does not have separate video calling option, but it comes with built in call recorder.

The bigger display is made to watch the video. The phone plays the file with 1080 pixel resolution smoothly. But the video with higher resolution lags behind. 4 can not even play the video.

Vivo's V series handsets are known for the front camera. This time the company has given 24-megapixel sensor. The aperture is F / 2.0. You will also find beauty modes for selfie and video calls. Despite the secondary sensor removal, the portrait mode has been given. With this help you can also get the so called Bokeh effect, but you can not adjust the depth. In most of the circumstances, The sensor captures the details well, but skin tones are not accurate.
