I've been preparing for UPSC since 2013, 3 attempts in total,written mains twice including 2016 and current year interview call
Had enrolled for Vision Prelims test Series, Mains test series, Prelims 365, Mains 365, Ethics classes.(all online).
Below is my honest review and rating:
- Vision Monthly Current Affairs: Rating 4/5
Current affairs magazines are excellent and helped me a lot.
Advice: Download from Visionias.com or buy at ORN Xerox shops
2.Vision Prelims365: Rating: Study Material 4/5, Classes 1/5
Study material was excellent, comprehensive, easy to understand and cover(it is basically rearrangement of vision monthly current affairs). Classes on the other hand were pathetic, total waste of Money and more importantly Time. All fake attractive promises(Alternative testing environment,Test taking strategy sessions,Guidance) are made on the advertisement pamphlet to attract aspirants but they wont deliver on the promises at all.
Advice: Download the material from shared links or ORN but don't fall in the trap of joining the classes, you will regret it. Its just a money making gimmick by Visionias
3.Vision Mains 365: Even worse than Prelims 365
Rating: Study Material 4/5, Classes 1/5
Study material was excellent, comprehensive, easy to understand and cover(it is basically rearrangement of vision monthly current affairs). Classes on the other hand were pathetic, total waste of Money and more importantly Time. Tests were for self evaluation, thst means no one at vision will check them. All fake promises are made on the advertisement pamplet to attract aspirants but they wont deliver on the promises at all.
Advice: Download the material from shared links or ORN but dont fall in the trap of joining the classes, you will regret it. Its just a money making gimmick by Visionias
4.Vision Prelims test series: Rating 4/5
Very nice, good questions,nice explanations.
Advice: Download the papers from shared links or Rajkr Google drive or Xerox shops, You may also join but it is very expensive and you easily get the papers and solutions outside.
- Vision Ias Mains test series: 4/5
Very nice, good questions,nice explanations. Feedback is alright, one may complain that answer copies are checked by students who couldnt clear prelims but feedback is still better than most of the other coachings.
Advice: Enroll for it after prelims, it is very good.
- Vision Ethics Class: Rating 1/5
Worst experience ever,Totally UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR, Vision advertised that Mukul Pathak Sir will take classes(Sep 2016 Batch) thats why I enrolled, later they said Mukul Sir wont be taking it,I asked for refund,they declined. Had to force myself for their classes. Classes were by Suraj Suryavanshi and Ranjan Dutta sir.They were absolutely pathetic. After completing all the classes decided to do ethics from Mrunal.org, which was million times better.
Advice: It's a trap,dont fall in it.
P.S. These are my honest opinion, I'm an aspirant(not paid by anyone to write this review). I've written this review so that future aspirants can make their choices wisely.
