his fans say he is a matchwinner so he should always be selected in the team .yes they arecorrect because the definition of matchwinner in india is a player who performs well in onematch out of 100 matches.since his performances in multan test match in 2004.he has onlyperformed well in one test series against pak in 2005 and a little bit in a flat track at lahore in jan 06where any school kid could have scored a century. he is failing constantly and is consistentlyinconsistent.he failed in malaysian series , champions trophy, southafrican tour, england seriesetc........
To give you the statistics in odis he has only made 10 half centuries in nearly 75-80 matches.is this your great player?he lacks in making any adjustment and absoulety horrible shotselection.he is not at all bothered , his attitude is very upsetting.he might score well in a couple of matches to retain his place for world cup and his stupidfans will declare nawab is back in form , he is attacking player....................etc, , we simply cannot have players who just play so recklessly and carelessly..he is not even eligible to be selected for street cricket...
What is the meaning of out of form? why his fans are saying that it is only a lean patch?if a period of nearly 1and a half year of miserable performance is out of form and only a patch.then great going indian cricket .......we will even lose against bermuda, netherlands. if such playersare selected..we must drop him immediately and ask him to play some school cricket .the kind ofselection taking place in india world cup surely will remain a dream for next 100 years..
