Actually I am not a Person who writes review's but after the Pain from Vibgyor Pune, I thought I need to pen it down. The School has absolute no infrastructure, all the dusty and horrible playground, with lot of stones, broken glass there, in monsoon time its a place like hell. All the filthy dirty water all over the school, one cant go to pick up kids without getting dirty.
The place where they let practice the kids for any event is full of Motor Oil leaked from their Buses with a mix of Dust. The Principle is in my Opinion a full Idiot, how can she at all teach kids. She thinks that the School is her private property.
When she comes to school in the morning she starts honking everybody out of the way already 100 meter from the school and she keeps honking in the school to small kids. Plays very loud music in the car as well. She forces kids to sit on the ground on the field which is full of dirt and very unhygienic.
Blames the parent for each and every thing. My daughter got infected with Swine Flu in the school, but she started blaming us and asked us to hide the truth. Which is very risky f or all the other kids.they can manage any thing. When the school is over all the buses starting pushing each other and creating a chaos for parents. From Teaching point of view its even worst.
All the good teachers have left the school. We were very happy as the ex Principle Mrs Joshi was there. They had good staff. Now its just a dirty business in name of teaching. One example shocked me. The math teacher explained to my daughter that 1/3 +1/2= 2/5 simply add the numerator and denominator.
And my daughter fought with me saying that I am wrong because teacher has explained her the right way (which is off course simpler). Took lot of energy convincing her the right way. They don't provide proper books but use Photocopies of some books.
With some time funny scenarios like asking the kid to explain the red, blue, yellow color area in a black and White Photocopy of a Map, the grading is more or less a lottery system. The school is more interested in doing more business than concentrating on studies.
Like they ask to participate in some exams which costs 550 rs and done by a NGO or some institute and the kids will get a Certificate. Very bad quality Uniform and specially the socks. Now this year they might have promised to generate more revenue to their Uniform supplier.
So from next months the Uniform is changed and we all have to buy the new one.on the whole, cheating the parents in name of International School. We are looking now for a better school, no idea if we find any.
But the old style conservative school are better to rely upon. Hope my review makes the scenario with Vibgyor bit clear.
