Director Ram Gopal Verma and his team did a fantastic jon interms of technique. The camera works specially, featuting a lot of drone technique as well as the over-the-shoulder POV camera angles, is stupendous. It realyy ads a new dimension in the film. the taut editing and the loud but impactful music too add the punch of the film. But the frills and gimmicks of filmmaking can only compliment the sorytelling. The core effort goes into crafting a story that can move its audience. And on those counts, Veerappan feels severely underwhelming.
Its not the worst film Ram Gopal Verma has made, nor is it any close to his best. Its just a middle of the road offering where seeing an actor look like the mirror image of Veerappan catches your fancy for a few feeling moments. Once the illusion withers away, there's really nothing to hold on to.
