Parents ruining their child to wash their own sins. Review on Uttaran

This serial started on a good note and went terribly wrong then.

This story about 2 girls one coming from poor background where her mom is a housemaid and the other coming from rich Thakur family is becoming increasing difficult to comprehend.

When writing this review I am assuming all fellow members would already know the synopsis of this story as the serial has been pretty old now but I want to make a point here regarding an issue which is simply overlooked.

This story is currently revolving around 2 young girls where the rich one Tapasya is a brat and the poor one Iccha is an angel.

As we all know that the poor girl has been brought up with lots of values and good teachings from her great mother and the child has been really brought up very well. Also Mr. Thakur has been very kind to them since he accidentally killed the maid’s husband and so he must repent.

But this Thakur does everything to make sure that his sins are washed away by doing everything possible for Iccha. During their childhood he also realized that his daughter is getting jealous of the Iccha obviously because her parents suddenly became Iccha’s parents. This is behavior of an average Global child and honestly does not need a Mausi/Nani to explicitly teach her.

But the great father thought of novel idea f sending his own child to hostel to teach her a lesson. If only he is feeling so guilty why did he not simply buy a new house for the maid and her daughter and provide them all facilities if he thought his small child was a threat to Iccha.Or why could he not simply pack off Nani from his house if he thought Nani was better influence on her them the parents themselves.

Even today when the girls have grown up Iccha does not stop praising her mother for all that she has done for her and but the same cannot be applied to Tapasya as she actually des not know except for material things what she has got from them. Today Iccha is going to marry a rich guy thanks to Tapasyas foolishness or whatever you call it and the angel miss innocent fell in love with the Sapnon Ka Raajkumar. For whatever her good deeds paid off. Oh why these television people have so many stories where the Snow white falls in love with Prince Charming. Why aren’t poor boys worth getting married to?

Anyways , Here too Mr. Thakur is in full hurry for Kanyadaan of Iccha and the rich guy; good for Iccha but he still does not have the time to find out why his daughter refused ?why she is going astray?, what efforts he must put to get his daughter also to settle down properly in her life.

Here too I am sure Mr. Thakur will one day realize his daughter has turned into a vamp or something or will be cheated terribly by some junk person but the father instead of making her life better will think of a punishment probably marrying her off to a chawl guy and teach her lesson.

Also miss Angel goes Hippity Hoppity with her best friends Fiancé and also falls in love with him never mind this after all she is a young girl, but when she is seeing that her friend is going the wrong way shouldn't she confide in someone at least her mother who I am sure knows Tapasya better than her own mother does.

My whole point is in the process of washing their own sins the parents never paid attention to how their own daughter was being brought up. The same values which they are so happy to see in Iccha inculcated in her by her mother when they don’t see the same in Tapasya why don’t they pinch themselves and ask themselves why is our daughter not the same. I wonder if those 2 and esp. the mother who does nothing at all except cry after all is done leaving her child to the servants mercy ever think what their child is studying who her friends are.

We have seen many parents where children are spoilt brats but then parents know that and perhaps some of them even are the same way themselves but here they have walking talking example of difference in front of their eyes and consider themselves to be saints and man of principle etc.

And if they say that how we would know what our daughter does outside then it’s a bigger shame on them for raising child with such values and easily washing off their hands.

My conclusion is Iccha’s mother is given credit for the angel Iccha then aren’t Tapasyas parents responsible for her going astray. Should Mr. Thakur not think that it’s him who needs the whacking now.

Mr. Thakur committed a bigger sin of spoiling his child’s future while trying to wash his old sins

I guess God would have forgiven him of his accidental sin which he did by no intention but he cannot be forgiven for his sins which he did through out his life towards his child.
