I bought this cooler couple of days back just because I thought USHA is a well known company and this cooler had 3 sides grills for air suction unlike other small coolers which have only one side grill for air suction. When I started it first time it worked well few minutes, then I observed water started leaking from drain below the cooler.
I checked it and found the rubber cap that is used to close the drain was faulty. I did some makeshift arrangement to stop the water leaking. A day later when I switched on the cooler and put it on Swing mode, the swing blades after few minutes started making squeeling noise as if it was facing resistance in its movement.
Cooling is pretty good, and cooler is bit noisy though. Can't expect an air cooler to be sound proof. So thats ok. I decided to log a call with the customer care for replacement of the rubber cap, started calling the concerned customer care centres in bangalore and I was surprised that some customer care numbers were invalid and some of them who picked up the phone said they no longer deal with USHA LEXUS.
Finally I am here writing this review and searching USHA LEXUS website for any customer care number. All in all, I am sad about the after sales support and the quality of the cooler. I suggest not to go for USHA Lexus as the quality and support is bad.
