Currently I am living in Dharwad employed with HLL.
I did my college studies in Mar Ivanious College,TVM
affiliated to the University of Kerala during early 70's.
The dedication and sincerity of the the college lectures & Professors is something to be talked about. The education imparted is of world class.I am talking about my period.
The academic brilliance of the mentors is there for all to
see and intake. The education is of very high standard and
the evaluation and marks you get is what you deserve, nothing more or nothing less.Just Right.
I do compare this against the current trend in Karnataka.
I have come across scores of M.Com (Hons),MBAs and BE's
who won't qualify for the LKGs/UKGs of college education
of the standards of Kerala University.
This is happening because of commercialisation of higher education and mushrooming professional institutions without any basic infrastructure.
Yes there are exceptions like SDM/KLE to name a few.
I still have high esteem for the stalwarts of Kerala University who has made the University to have a name of its own and there is no need for anyone to cross check the
authenticity of education imparted.
Whatever I am today I will always give credit to the University of Kerala who has laid the foundation for my career to evolve on its own from the basic commercial
functions to the in thing of today IT.Yes right now I am
a Systems Administrator of repute in this part of the world.
Hello and Best of Luck to my friends and well wishers
in the University of Kerala
