Any film which seeks to portray social evils like consumption of narcotics and the adverse consequences thereof has to convey its message forcefully however horrendous it may look. Udta Punjab is just not a film for arm chair critics.
It has a social purpose and if the conscience of the cinema going public is whipped up, the filmThe write up will definitely inspire scores of people like me to watch the movie, preferably in a theater. Well done NJ. has served its purpose.
