Its really an act of humanity to all.I got Ubuntu CDs mailed for my desktop x86 machine. I appreciate their effort to distribute Ubuntu to all who like it free of cost. I like it since its an effort of many generous IT professionals and geniuses. I praise their work continuing with Ubuntu even though hundreds of other distributions are there! But the most irritating thing is that how can I get installable application packages for Ubuntu if I do not have an internet connection?
I installed it over 3 times hoping that I can substitute Ubuntu for Windows and searching for debian/rpm packages for Edgy Eft!In such as case, finding packages on internet and installing packages from source files (may not succeed) is extremely tiresome and tedious and disappointing. So however I have passion for UBUNTU, I am forced to install some other distribution that includes many needed software.
