It's been great fun to read about others' musical favorites. Nice to see the occasional common favorite and a bit sobering to note that virtually all my favorites were written before many of the writers were born! It seems to me, that as we go through life, more and more our favorites become the sound tracks of our memories. Music can change a mood, evoke a feeling or make us think. we can wallow with the blues or crank up the volume on a good sing along song and shake the blues away.
So here is my top twenty or so. No particular order.
